Dr. Vaishnavi Prabhakar MDS

Dr. Vaishnavi Prabhakar, BDS, MDS, is one of India's few American Board-Certified Orofacial pain, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, and Dental Sleep Medicine specialists. Dr. Vaishnavi has completed her B.D.S. from MAHER University, Chennai, India. She then completed her Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge, and Oral Implantology from SRM DENTAL COLLEGE CHENNAI, India. She is among the first to complete her Fellowship and Masters in Orofacial pain, temporomandibular joint disorder, and dental sleep medicine from ROSEMAN UNIVERSITY, Utah, USA. She was among the first to be awarded the Diplomat Stature from the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 2022. She is a leading expert in diagnosing and managing facial pain, temporomandibular joint disorder, headaches, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and snoring. She lectures extensively and trains dentists nationwide about orofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders. She practices general, implantology, and cosmetic dentistry specializing in dental veneers and smile design. She is currently researching and pursuing her Ph.D. in temporomandibular joint disorders.
